What
The Yards are a new group pushing the boundaries of the organ trio format into uncharted territory. Through a shared appreciation for non-Western music, they weave Ethiopian jazz with late 60s soul-jazz classics as well as West African musical styles centering around Nigerian Afrobeat and Ghanaian psychedelic funk.
The group features Colin Brown on organ and Eric Burns & Joseph Yount of Super Yamba Band on guitar and drums.
